Itinerary

Day 1
Oslo

Arrive Oslo – Enjoy a day in Oslo, the capital of Norway! Overnight and breakfast at Thon Hotel Terminus or similar.

Day 2

OSLO – HUNDERFOSSEN in LILLEHAMMER

Early breakfast at your hotel. Self-transfer to the train station, for your train bound to Hunderfossen in Lillehammer. Train is ready for boarding 20 minutes before departure. Short self-transfer to the 4-star ice hotel. Enjoy dinner, overnight and breakfast at the resort. It will be a unique sleeping experience! Various international ice artists are invited every year to sculpt in snow and ice – so the ice hotel appears different year after year. Includes entry to Hunderfossen Winterpark, 2 meals dinner course at Fossekroa, kick-sledge hike from Fossekroa to the Snowhotel, ice-drink served in glasses of ice at the Ice bar, sauna and breakfast at the Hotel & Resort on the day of departure.

Day 3

HUNDERFOSSEN – TRONDHEIM

Enjoy breakfast, make sure to stop by at the Trollsalen before you leave – an adventurous stop! Around 10.30 train departure from Hunderfossen to Trondheim. Self transfer from train station to your hotel. Overnight and breakfast at Thon Hotel Nidaros or similar in Trondheim.

Day 4

TRONDHEIM – BERGEN
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Self-transfer to the terminal for your overnight cruise to Bergen. 10:00 Cruise departure from Trondheim to Bergen. Overnight in double outside cabin – breakfast included.

Day 5

ARRIVE BERGEN
Self-transfer from the ship to your hotel. Overnight and breakfast at a 4 or 5 star-hotel in Bergen. Spend the day to explore beautiful Bergen. See the Unesco Bryggen Wharf, the Fish market, take the Funicular to the top of mount Floyen – offering you a marvelous view of the city and the surrounding fjords and islands.

Make sure to visit the authentic areas with tiny wooden houses and narrow streets at the hillsides, at the Nordnes peninsula and Marken area close to the old train station.

Day 6

BERGEN – VOSS – GUDVANGEN – FLÅM

Early breakfast at your hotel. Self-transfer with train, bus and boat to Flåm. Self-transfer to the pier in Gudvangen where you board the boat which takes you to Aurlandsfjorden and the UNESCO protected Nærøyfjorden. The Aurlandsfjord is a picturesque fjord where you can enjoy the view, while the fjord of Nærøy is one of Europe’s most narrow fjords surrounded by enormous mountains.

In Flåm it\’s only a two minute walk to your hotel. Enjoy the Viking Plank Dinner, overnight and breakfast at a luxurous hotel. In the midday you can enjoy the snowshoe Hike. Duration: 2,5 – 3 hrs.

This guided hike will take you into our local mountains, for an exceptional view of the fjord at Stegastein viewpoint in Aurland. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Aurlandsfjord and experience how it is to hike on these traditional snowshoes.

The spectacular landscape has shaped the way of life here for generations and we stop several times during the tour to share our passion and knowledge about the area. As on traditional Norwegian snowshoe hikes, there will be served hot beverages to warm you up. The trip is suitable for beginners and is a fun way to access nature during the winter season. General fitness is required, but no experience is needed.

Day 7

FLÅM – MYRDAL – OSLO

Breakfast at your hotel. Make your way down to the pier in Flåm for your Winter Fjord Safari by RIB. Enjoy! Please dress warm as the temperature on the fjord will be very low during the winter months. Meet up at least 30 minutes prior to departure to check in and get fully dressed. At 11 am arrive back at Flåm pier. Train departure from Flåm to Myrdal onboard the Flåmsbana railway.

The Flåm Railway has been named one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world, and is one of the leading tourist attractions in Norway. The train runs from the end of Aurlandsfjord, a trubitary of the Sognefjord, up to the high mountains at Myrdal station. The journey displays the very best aspects of Western Norway`s stunning scenery. While waiting for the train bound to Oslo, we suggest you have lunch at Rallaren Cafè (not included).

Arrive Oslo S train station. Self-transfer to your hotel. Check in for overnight and breakfast at 4-star Hotel.

Day 8

OSLO

Tour ends after breakfast.

Telemark Canal

About

The Telemark Canal – one of the most beautiful waterways in the world. The Telemark Canal was carved into the rock over 100 years ago. When the canal was completed in 1892, it was called the \”eighth wonder\”. The canal connects the coast of Telemark with the interior through eight locks at a distance of 105 km from Skien to Dalen. Enjoy the Telemark Canal and everything it has to offer; the various locks with its piers and docks and of course the boats themselves.
Itinerary

Day 1 ARRIVE OSLO

Arrive Oslo and make your way to your hotel for the night in the city.

Day 2 OSLO – SKIEN

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel – before you make your way to the Oslo Central station, conveniently located a short walk from your hotel – ask front desk for directions if you need help with locating it. Arrive Skien and make your way to your hotel for the night. The hotel is a 10 minutes ride by car. Suggest you take a taxi from train station to hotel (taxi is not included)

Day 3 SKIEN – TELEMAKS CANAL TOUR – DALEN

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before you make your way to the point of departure for your “Telemark Canal Tour” onboard one of the old, antique boats trafficking the canals, from Skien to Dalen. The walk is about 9 minutes by following the water. Front desk are of assistance if you need help!

Day 4 DALEN – ÅMOT – OSLO

Enjoy breakfast this morning before you head back to Oslo by bus.

Itinerary

Day 1
STOCKHOLM
Upon arrival, self-transfer to your centrally located hotel. Remainder of the day is at your leisure with plenty of museums, restaurants, shops and galleries to explore. We suggest a visit to the Vasa Museum, which houses one of the world’s oldest and best- preserved warships dating back to 1628. Or perhaps a visit to Skansen, the world’s oldest open-air museum, with its collection of old buildings brought here from all over Sweden. Overnight and breakfast at 4 star hotel.

Day 2

STOCKHOLM

Enjoy a nice breakfast at your hotel before you will explore Stockholm! Enjoy the tour – STOCKHOLM in a Nutshell. Departure from Gustav Adolfs Torg at 10.00 hrs. This tour is a combination of the Stockholm Panorama bus tour and the Royal Canal Tour. We start with a coach trip around the city, viewing the best known sites and buildings. After one hour and a half, we transfer to a boat to sail around the royal park of Djurgården and past the most inner archipelago islands. Overnight and breakfast at 4 star hotel.

Day 3

STOCKHOLM-COPENHAGEN

After breakfast self-transfer to the railway station for an exciting ride through the rich, open countryside of Sweden, passing small towns, well-tended fields, glittering lakes, and deep forests. Your afternoon arrival in Copenhagen leaves the evening free to stroll through the enchanting Tivoli Gardens. 1st class train from Stockholm to Copenhagen. Overnight and breakfast at 4 star hotel.

Day 4

COPENHAGEN

Breakfast is served at your hotel before you go on a city tour of Copenhagen! The bus passes by the major sights of Copenhagen, for example the magnificent Gefion Fountain, Tivoli, Christiansborg Palace, the Opera, Our Saviour\’s Church, Amalienborg Castle and much more.

At the conclusion of the bus tour you will board one of our canal boats for a live-guided tour on the beautiful canals of Copenhagen and explore more of our city. One of the great highlights is of course the Little Mermaid, a tribute to Hans Christian Andersen. The cruise continues through the picturesque canals of Christianhavn and Frederiksholm where historical buildings are to be enjoyed side by side with more modern architecture.

We end our tour in the very heart of Copenhagen – at Gammel Strand which is only a few minutes’ walk from the main shopping street, Strøget. Afternoon at your leisure! Overnight and breakfast at 4 star hotel.

Day 5

COPENHAGEN-OVERNIGHT CRUISE TO OSLO

Majority of day at leisure to explore Copenhagen in more depth. Board the ship for your overnight cruise to Oslo in the late afternoon. Before dining in one of the ships several lively restaurants, you may choose to admire the gently curving Danish coastline from the Promenade deck. Overnight on board – double outside cabin – 2 berth with sea view.

Day 6
OSLO

Enjoy your breakfast as you sail up the magnificent Oslo-fjord. After docking, day at leisure to explore this city of art and culture. Overnight and breakfast at 4 star hotel

Day 7

OSLO

After breakfast begin your Oslo City Tour – Oslo Selected Highlights – 3 hours and 45 minutes. This is a half day sightseeing tour with many of the most beautiful and interesting sights: The city center of Oslo, the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Ski Jump at Holmenkollen and the Viking Ships in the Viking Ship Museum. From Bygdøy return to the city center. Afternoon at your leisure! Overnight and breakfast at 4 star hotel.

Day 8
OSLO – MYRDAL – FLÅM – GUDVANGEN – VOSS – BERGEN
Enjoy breakfast before you board the train bound for Bergen. Leave the train in Myrdal and connect with the Flåm Railway down to the tiny village of Flåm. Spend a little while in Flåm before you board the boat taking you on the Sognefjord and the Nærøyfjord to Gudvangen. In Gudvangen you walk up the pier and onboard the bus taking you via Stalheim to Voss. In Voss you board the train bound for Bergen. Arrive Bergen, and self-transfer to your hotel for the night. Overnight and breakfast at 4 star hotel

Day 9

BERGEN

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before exploring Bergen. Hop-on/hop-off sightseeing ticket is included today. The bus pass by Bryggen, the fish market the tourist information office, the aquarium, Bergen Museum, The Grieg Hall, Fløi Funicular, The Maria Church, The Old Bergen Museum and many other attractions Ask for dining tips from your hotel, if you want. Day 10
BERGEN
